Lucast is an anti-asthmatic medicine of APG Pharmaceuticals Pakistan. This tablet is very effective against acute and chronic asthmatic attack. Lucast uses new therapy for asthma which is internationally recommended. Lucast is available in three presentations/forms i.e. 10mg, 5mg and 4mg.

Each chewable tablet contains Montelukast 4 mg (as sodium salt)

Each film coated tablet contains Montelukast 10 mg (as sodium salt)
Description:
Lucast contains montelukast sodium, a relatively new and effective therapy recommended by international and national guidelines for the control (prevention) of acute and chronic asthmatic attacks
Indications:
Prophylaxis of acute exacerbation of asthma
- • Prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction
- • Treatment of aspirin-sensitive asthma
Dosage:
Children
- 2-5 years of age: One 4 mg dispersible tablet to be taken in the evening
- 6-15 years of age: One 5 mg chewable tablet to be taken in the evening
Adults more than 15 years of age: One 10 mg tablet to be taken in the evening
or as directed by the physician
