The Companies Ordinance 1984
It is an ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to companies and certain other associations for the purpose of healty growth of the corporate enterprises, protection of investors and creditors, promotion of investment and development of economy and matters arising out of or connected therewith. The ordinance is for whole Pakistan.

Yes it has been replaced
we are two partner in a marble factory. we have ownership dispute. can we go to court for this dispute. because one lawyer said ” according to company ordinance one director can not file a suit against other” i think it may be for public limited company not for a private marble factory. would u like to inform me about the definition of a public limited company and private limited company and a private marble factory according to companies ordinance 1984 in Pakistan

You have private partnership and not Public Limited Company so you can go to court and file suit
Is there any clause in this act elaborates the functions fo a chief executive in absence of a functioning board of directors ? please speak if equipped with informations.
