NA 153 Multan-VI
NA 153 is a constituency for the seat of Pakistan’s National Assembly from Multan District. Multan District is very important in Southern Punjab politics and there are total 6 National Assembly Seats of Multan. NA 153 is also known as NA-153 Multan-VI and it is the last of total 6 seats from District Multan of Punjab Province.
This constituency is stronghold of PML-N and Dewan family. In 2002 General Elections, Dewan Jaffer Hussain won the seat on PML-N. In 2008 General Election, Dewan Ashiq Hussain won the seat on PML-N ticket. In 2013 General Election, again Dewan Ashiq Hussain won the seat on PML-N ticket. He defeated second position Qasim Noon of PPP with small margin.
