NA 240 Karachi-II / NA-240 Pakistan
NA 240 is a constituency for the seat of Pakistan’s National Assembly from Karachi. Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan and it sends more representatives to the National Assembly of Pakistan than any other city of country. There are total 20 National Assembly seats of Karachi from NA 239 to NA 258. NA 240 is also known as NA-240 Karachi-II and it is the second of total 20 constituencies of Karachi for National Assembly.
This constituency is stronghold of Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM). In 2002 General Elections, Sarkaruddin Advocate of MQM won the seat comfortably. In 2008, Sohail Mansoor of MQM won the seat and in 2013 General Elections, again Sohail Mansoor Khawaja won the seat on MQM ticket. He defeated PTI’s Naz Balooch with ease.
